I posted this chart some hours ago and again about an hour ago. Today both the top and the (small) rebound were predicted by ellipses. Some day Michael Lewis might write a book of how Wallstreet rigged the market with ellipses ...Bye guys, have a great weekend ...

SPX starts trading with crude volatility on Feb 7 big gap down. Reset for some reason.

It's an hourly and it suggested strength at 3:00 p.m. - there was a teeny-weeny bounce. I don't know if it's done now, no idea. But I do know that the Bullish Percentages are weak and that doesn't bode well for next week. For me a signal to sell into strength and not to buy the dips.

Check this and look at BPNDX - quite amazing the weakness in big technology:

Bullish Percentages at the close Friday: BPNYA -0.37%, BPCOMPQ -2.75%, BPNDX is down -10.17% (!!!) BPOEX +1.35%, BPINDU -4.35%, BPSPX -0.54% - only BPFINA is flat.
