Notice how all moves since yesterday can be mapped to one of the 4 pBARs that appeared a day earlier. Now what do you do with this crap? Well, First you can easily identify the resistance area and possible (just the possible) target. To really benefit from this info you need to have some other TA to decide which side to give the advantage of.

A question to ponder:
If pBARs are meant to indicate a price target why do they had to throw 4 of them and also why in different color. Inquiring mind would like to know

I do some worksheet based TA. It has 11 variables analysed on 4 time frames (suited for swing trading). As of close of yesterday 40 of 44 outputs were favoring the bulls (now you, sort of, know the basis off my projection to SPX1980).

Now 42 of 44 favor Bulls. 9:00 PST

Do you happen to have a smallies chart you wouldn't mind sharing?

My summation signal is up for the R2K. So, I had an open to buy.
It is up for the S&P too, but the R2K has the benefit of having corrected.
So, I am guessing for some kind of move to test the old high.

I have attached my R2K summation chart, but it may not be of general use as the indicator math is mine.
The setup has a 62% win rate, and an average gain to pain of 3+ to 1.
For fun, you can see where the algos picked off my stop on March 21st (red diamond). Who said trading was easy... that was a bummer.
This time, I waited for the pull back.
Intraday yesterday, I used a MACD on the Tick combined with a 3 minute indicator chart to trigger entry.

Out SLV play, look for lower re-entry. See this as a fractal fail. Sold premium so it cost a few bucks to watch that investment sit there for a few days and do zip. Played me like a ten cent harmonica.

Had this discussion early this week with some buddies. The big take away was has volume really dropped off or has it shifted to the dark pools which are then just not reported as in the past? Interesting question.

I see VIX has reached and touched bottom BB of all the charts ( i.e. 5hr, daily, weekly and monthly) what is your interpretation of this and do you have any historical data that shows how VIX behave when it reaches this level?

I am tempting to hold because of its triple top breakout (BTW this wil produce a triple BO in P&F chart- a bullish signal).
Just set the stop at 107.

A comment and an offer concerning P Bars.

There have been a number of posts about P Bar trading the last two days.
Some have been emotive, perhaps due to posting styles, perhaps due to Mr. Market being frustrating.
All setups fail a certain % of the time.
It is important to do due diligence, particularly if slipstreaming an idea here.

I watch P Bars closely but confess I have not found a practical way to trade them absent an edge from some other tool.
I have done some work on this, but much remains a mystery.
To perhaps help some of you and maybe help myself in the process, I have an offer, which I have posted in the intraday comments on the paid site.
