it's different this time.
How come all of these "experts" have all the answers yet their performance is either unpublished or underwhelming? I only know what my P&L shows and I dont even trust that.
But they sound good do they?

Just an opinion (i don't follow kass) here are two important things for most people (1) the idea they can "understand" the story-philosophy-idea-theory etc. (2) generally the sense of confidence in the person putting out the idea or what have you. What people fear the most is ambiguity . . .lack of clarity. So any absolute no matter how weak is preferable to being clueless for most people.

"ambiguity has a face. . .and you must make a friend out of ambiguity. ambiguity and cluelessness are your friends. if they are not they are enemies to be feared. they are truly enemies."

So from cancer to money management life is going to put you in some odd situations and if you for for the party line history tends to show you later that that idea was at the very least incomplete and often totally wrong. The problem is how to accept and use this fact in real time in our lives. a final note in my experience most people develop some sense of "looking directly at the thing as it is" in their chosen profession or in some side interest or hobby but very few are able to generalize this to most things they encounter. so perhaps as traders we handle that ambiguity but not so much in the sense of medical or other areas.

bottom line? it's not just Kass or other hotshots--it's a need to come to some conclusion without actually "getting lost in" the situation involved which is often fairly complicated. the best clues often come after in the middle of total confusion if we can totally chill in that confusion.

good luck to all
