Daily SPY:

The technicals continue to deteriorate.

1. The lower bollinger band has established itself below the 200 dma for only the 3rd time in almost 3 years.
2. The bollinger band moving average has established itself below the 50 dma.

Long term, SPY is getting increasingly bearish.

If we break the HL higher low (7/15 low 210.04), stuff will get ugly
Then we’ll be looking at a dome or an inverted “V” formation, but we’ll burn that bridge if/when we get there

Barring some major catastrophe, the two low targets left at $207.49 and $204.95 will expire tomorrow untouched.

On a serious note, this is one of the weakest seasonal fortnights in the annual seasonality calendar for stocks. If ever bears should shoot for ambitious swing targets, it is in this zone.
