in the past bull will try another push up from here. let's see whether they can make it.
down before up would be better for the bulls.. imho .. invs H&S vs a bearish rising wedge.. overall.. talking 2days (RS)(invs H&S) -4 days (bear wedge) time frame.. fwiw.
hmm, depends on the time frame? push past the resistance to confirm bottom reversal, but risk bigger retreat as bull exhaust, while a retreat without breaking resistance then short term still neutral while bull may continue to push after small retreat. pretty much the two sides of coin.

If the bottom is in gains would have to hold tomorrow..... then perhaps next week is a retest of lows...

I've been looking at this chart for a week now.

I'm convinced that these kind of cycles are programed into algos. The turns we see here are much too smooth to be coincidence. I believe they are artificially generated. For the small trader the trick is to A) find the system behind the algo and B) to sit tight and trade along the robots. Much better than condemning Wallstreet. Without predictability trading would be much more difficult.

There's a lot of cycles at play all at the same time....I see a cycle hit next week sometime...could be higher low....??

But Dow still has not made a lower low....I'm sure the algo's will want to test that....

No, it's full of them.

The crossover you marked shows resistance and a time signal. But the only sure thing is the time signal on the y-axis. The resistance level only comes into play if SPX feels like moving higher.
