Checking 2008 again Note that February 1 2008 was a Friday and the market rallied. The February decline in 2008 began on Monday February 4th.

I'd like to add: in February 2008 the market didn't close below the green BB13/1 - if we make the 2016 analogue this suggests no close below SPX 1870ish in the next few days.
