2120ish initial support to the downside. VIX far from 2014 Lows @ 10.28

Ben Bernanke, a former Federal Reserve chairman, visited the Bank of Japan on Monday, according to a Reuters witness. Government sources told Reuters on Friday that Bernanke, who steered the United States through its worst financial crisis in modern times, would meet with Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe this week.

“The Dow leads”
Note how the Dow showed the way a few months back, when it posted a double bottom (as compared with sept/oct last year), while everyone else posted lower lows. That positive divergence suggested higher.
Now the Dow is NOT hitting a new high as the SPX did today.
Will the Dow lead again (negative divergence)? Let’s just give it a bit more time….?
