I agree, and like them, too. One thing I've noticed, there are a few who expect you to call minute by minute market moves, and when you don't, they complain. Please don't let complainers keep you from doing what you do best, and that's give statistics and probabilities. No one can make 100% accurate market calls. All people visiting this board should realize that they have to make the decisions for any trades they make, and they have to take responsibility for their own trades. Cobra, you're good, but no one is 100% all the time.

I've learned so much from you.
Totally agree!! Morning Cobra and everyone.

I dont agree with that at all. I think people should adopt the "banking philosophy" and create their own risk and expect to get bailed out by everyone else.

Thanks. I think I'll change the wording and perhaps adopt a fixed format in the future to avoid confusion. I do agree that statistics mostly don't work nowadays though.

I noticed the daily MACD barely budged during the last 2 days of selloff. The up momentum was strong.

Perfect bear flag channel trading action so far... this is what I'm carefully watching... the 80 SMA on the weekly is the key on top of this hourly chart I'm monitoring

I think saying "We're in Volatile Markets, typical rules may not apply" should suffice. we all know it's trade at your own risk.

wonder if we'll do something similar to yesterday, just in reverse. show a new HOD after 10:30, to then begin selling off at all day long.

fehro, we got a MACD crossover plus a green bar on the hourly, so it's a low probability it's going to turn down to the degree of a head and shoulder pattern right now. That would not be high probability trade- JMO.

I'm looking to short in the 119.25 - 119.75 area. But who knows, maybe we get a trend day.

Didn't quite understand why SPX is stuck at 1185 - checked my charts and found this:
