Well I took the dog for a walk and now the HOD is 2724.75 vs est of 2726.5 or 1.75 difference
LOD 2771.25 verses est of 2677.50 dif or 6.25 dif

Sold shorts earlier today. VIX daily looks bearish so a bounce is likely and will reload on the puts. Sitting on my hands for now. This was a nice reversal today for the Bulls.

TLT held its 20day MA today, but did not recover its morning gains, and is currently about flat on the day.

The phrasing used could equally mean "I closed out, by buying back, a half of my short position".

Near perfect ambiguity. ..

Hard to tell on the chart I'm looking at, but it looks like USO is putting in a second inside day... just inside. And both bars are still dwarfed, on a daily chart, by that huge down day on Tuesday.

Oil, earlier in the week northman trading had some outstanding charts up at Zero hedge showing the oil and nat gas gyrations were a large fund blowing up their positions. I think you have to wait for the ripples to go away before you can read the pond's surface again.

I read something about that too. Specifically the UNG etf. The +/- 15% daily moves of the past week were a giant short squeeze followed by a supernova... and collapse.
