it looks very undecided and will probably churn about until it picks a direction - which is close to a coin toss. It is only slightly more liekly to go down. I do have two indicators showing the first leg to be up and should it not stall at 2670 then it could gain momentum to the upside.

Well 10 minutes from the Frankfurt/London close and here we are doing a proper double bottom dance. If this works it will be yet another day of the V pattern .

My scenario is off to a good start but it really really needs to get above ES 2657 before I will feel confident.

Since it has been pretty much nothing but sell programs on the way down it will be a struggle to move up with just routine trading.

Question: What does "Mid Chg 2" represent?

HI QED!

I try to estimate, well everything, but also the midpt of the day.
Mid chg is a score to show if the mid is likely to be higher or lower than yesterday.
There are eight factors each with a value of -1 or +1.
These are summed and multiplied by 1.5 => the mid chg score ranging from +12 to -12
So "Mid Chg 2" means that today's mid is likely to be close to to yesterdays mid.
(+2 is almost neutral)
Ymid=2667.00 +2=> 2669

However, the model has grown so big that I haven't had time to tell which factors work or not and if the midchg has any predictive value or not. It is best to ignore it unless you see something useful in it.
