Yes I like Te fern's trend line. On my charts it becomes a channel with a good looking mid line.

Spike down and this last run down are both right at 10 points, so two measured moves down so far. Thinking the gap will fill.

Often market changes direction after euro time zone close. Yesterday it showed summer behavior and went to a teeny tiny little range.

$NYUPV:$NYDNV = 4x

Now:
$NYADV:$NYDEC = 1.7x
$NYUPV:$NYDNV = 2.3

Third touch of your trend line. Either confirms we are headed for a gap close or it is into a range, and my look at the time! Just as the Euro time zone folks go home for the day.

Third 10 point drop from here would get us well into yesterday's trading range.
