must be a very good job data. let's see whether market has a 2nd thought after the open as in the past the non farm payroll day tent to go opposite of the opening. personally I won't count on bears as they're useless.

This type of gap normally will not fill in one day. and most likely stay flat on the top flat side ways all day. my game is to sell the top, and hope it stick for the day but don't hope for much on the bears, I don't see much room for the bulls either at this juncture for today. will see. selling now.

I posted this last night on yesterday's thread...
The obvious pattern is the H&S targeting 3030 ish level if we turn here. But the not so obvious patterns are the IHS on the hourly and the ASC triangle which point to 3180. Could go either ways but its better to sit out.

I'm on the we'll see new highs today. As I said yesterday, once 3114 fell new highs were in the future. I'm looking to buy any small pullbacks. this is a third wave it's going to rip all day

SMALLS IWM may have hit a 52-week high

Blew up my computer right after the open. I was running footprint chart with a second slower 30 day chart on top of it and my old desk top could not handle it when regular hours volume hit. So no chart to show. But what I saw was the minute before the Jobs report the buy side of the order book dried up, and pretty much stayed that way for quite a while, but the sellers left their orders out there. So the market was chasing liquidity by going straight up. And that was through a zone where there was very little volume when it had previously plunged straight down on trade talks. Sort of fitting for a jobs report that once again (after factoring out returning strikers) showed health care and education as the only areas of any strength.

Just by virtue of its construction, a ratio of two different ratios is bound to lag a bit intraday.
But TRIN (1/TRIN) remaining bear-spx intraday, all morning, when we were up nearly 300 points… that’s criminal…
Obviously it is more nuanced than above/below 1
Yes, we are overbought and will pullback soon, but seriously……….
and that’s why I rely more on the intraday $NYADV:$NYDEC and the $NYUPV:$NYDNV because they are more "truthful"

breakout to the new high with good looking bull bar in the next couple of bars then it's an uptrend day.

8000 tick bars showing MACD rolling over. Now that the English have a unified political voice (i.e. without Scotland) London has been bidding up everything. The US market often changes direction within 45 minutes of the London close (11:30 GMT 5, or Eastern) so thinking the bulls are going to have to step it up after levitation on light volume and Larry Kudlow this morning.
