MM might have bottom wedge in mind, a closed above between 38.2 and 61.8% to get everyone guessing over the weekend. lots of news letters to sell and a talking heads to yep.

Thank you. But I certainly hope it's not this kind of news which is sad.

If bulls are able to touch the blue line above then breakout would be a little more likely.

If not this news, it would have something else. My experience is markets move, then find news to justify move.

Maybe it's bears who dare not hold over the weekend because of the stimulus package talk, a deal could be reached anytime or as usual, bulls just need a rumor.

Think it is due to stimulus hopes. If I am not mistaken IWM/Small caps is more banks/financials and if you look at KRE it is up big. Stimulus hopes there.

So all are aware there's the sword of Damocles there and it can drop at anytime, who dares to hold short over the weekend?
My experiences, bulls would have a few rumors to squeeze bears before the real news. Enough to play several rounds.

Good point, certainly Bulls should feel more confident since everything has mostly broken their way since March. Just R/R does not seem to be there to be overly exposed either way over the weekend.
