Hope this does not sound too crazy, but I'm DT with this monthly chart. First play was fine, now I'm waiting for a second go at 1140/1150. But I'm careful, market might want to squeeze up to 1180

If market close at this level I would expect gap down tomorrow. they need to run it up right now if 1150 were to call for.

I see a triple top on the 5 min, which usually means a break up, but each top is on devreasing RSI, so which do you believe holds more weight? RSI or triple top ususally don't hold? Thanks

One piece of evidence against my view that yesterday's low is a key low. TED spread has not topped and is starting to dip a toe into danger territory.

Yes. Well, that's odd. Cause T-bills ought to be flat too (near 0). So, spread should be driven by LIBOR moves pretty much. I get the chart off Bloomberg. So, it should be reliable.

As I check now, the spread has dropped since Europe closed. In the grand scheme though, I am looking for a reversal here (amongst other things) to signal the coast is clear.

You know, what works pretty well are the pivot points, support and resistance I posted earlier on Stock Charts.

For anyone who hasn't looked at them, go to Stock Charts, go to Overlays, on the first one click on Pivot Points, and leave the box on the right blank. Go to the next one and click Pivot Points, and in the box next to it, type in D for Demark Pivots, then in the next box click on Pivot Points, then in the box next to it, type in F for Fibonacci. Of course, you have to look at the overall market, what is going on, but I've had good success with those. Always look at both daily and weekly. I use Tony Caldaro's pivots, too.

Michelle, weekly NYAD cumulative was on sell yesterday, today it's back up above the 55 MA. Does not want to dip yet. As to what you write about pivots - does you device or computer or whatever enable screenshots
