My first post.

Today feels like a pump and dump, sharply up then slowly sell off. It seems like MM knows if drop today nobody will buy, so bring the market up instead.

Also to what extend can we view this as a bear flag to yesterday's drop? As you said it is unlikely that the sell off was one legged.

Thanks!
First of all, welcome aboard.

Secondly, this no longer looks like a Bear Flag because the rebound is way too sharp.
Thanks! So if this one fails it's 3-push up? Whereas a less strong one fails it's a bear flag :D ? Appreciate the feedback

the question is not clear.

3 push I mean intraday.

bear flag I mean 60 min chart.

intrday now critical, because if retest the high fail would confirm 3 push up therefore 2 leg down thereafter.

60 min chart no longer bear flag.

you must clear about the time frame I'm talking about.

THIS PATTERN PLAYS ESSENTIAL ROLE IN MY REVERSAL ANALYSIS!
Cobra, sorry to have aggregated you. Yes you mentioned 3-pushes a lot. It's just that today you mentioned about 2-push pullback (then reversal) so I was temporarily confused if 3-pushes mean reversal as well.

Cobra, do you think the correction that started yesterday is over or there may be more downside this week?

Sad that one stock AAPL can influence an index so much.

Thanks. A good plan I think. I was also watching for the cross on the 10/20 ema on the 5 min chart.

well to set a proper bear trap you don't make it look like a decisive breakout right away :) never short a dull market they say...

Still have a leg up to come from AAPL if that report is good.
AAPL report will likely be good. Their pre-sale of Iphone5 is enormous.
