Bears couldn't even break the 830am ES low, what makes you think they'll take out any support? brahahaha.

The bear bashing is getting old...time to bash some bulls for a change lol
yes i am in the bear camp today but think the dow trader ranges will hold though and it will be boring. day to lever up and play the ranges.
Just getting in on the fun. Have to find an appropriate bull/bear pic first ;)

An observation.
Many, including CNBC are bringing up the comparison of the October-December 1998 SPX chart and implying that we may be on a similar course straight up.
To me one striking difference is the $USD chart for the same, then and now, time periods.
At the end of September 1998 the 50day moved down through the 200day on the daily $USD chart. The proverbial Death Cross. Stocks rallied.
About a week ago the opposite happened. The 50 moved up through the 200 on the $USD daily chart.
The euro $XEU on the other hand shows the opposite with the Death Cross occurring around October 6th.
If histories have the tendency to repeat themselves I would be cautious with optimistic views that some are purporting.

Different view, same result.
99er -- i keep an eye on your charts via your blog through a reader --- any chance you could point out your targets more often? would be a big help to have a clearer sense of what you are thinking! thanks.

i'm a buyer at 1213 but 5 min ES vwap sits above it slightly so it'll either hit that and bounce before filling me or maybe it'll wait a little longer before testing.

That's a good contrarian indicator --- if you're alone as a bear, it might be time for the bears to come out of hibernation.

Sounds good, gotta run to a meeting. Hope it doesn't breakout to upside while I'm 'working'
