oh, we are here trying to decide where to clear all our shorts or keep them a little longer. ;)
hahaha.

good morning cobra and al and the rest of ya'll.

i was finding inspiration from 99er's charts this weekend, and am doing exactly what janez is saying - trying to find a good joint in my arm to start the incision process of getting myself out of these shorts. :)

Any NY guys? Are wall street guys up to work today? Here in New England a lot of city lost power due to the snow. I don't need to go to work since no power for my company...

Good morning all, so dx traded down to 75 overnight and ripped up to 76.4, almost breaking out. I'm watching for a breakout of the upper channel now. MF Global just filed for bankruptcy.

On the road today, so won't do much.

I am market neutral.
While I have been looking for a top, my mechanical model is on a buy, and intermediate term technicals look good.
So, even though I am bearish, my tactics will be bullish biased until I get more signals otherwise.
That means I'll probably use a good downdraft (good enough to clear overbought condition) to remove hedges and get net long again.
Just a feeling, but S&P 1300 should be a magnet at some point in the coming days.

RUT certainly went up HUGE!

That mid 720s area looks like a place it wants to visit.... but it has held VERY well so far today....

Note to shorts: let us know when y’all cover, then maybe the real decline might commence???

Yes, NYDEC confirmed the low, and then pulled back for a breather… or…
