hey cobra, i got a "max connections" problem yesterday afternoon when trying to reply to a message. i waited a few seconds and tried again and it worked fine. will let u know the exact message/error code if it happens again.

thanks. I just set max connections to 1,000 (and had to increase the file open limit and file cache), hopefully that wouldn't crash our sever directly. Let me know if you still see max connections problem, thanks.

I haven't had any problems since last morning around 9:20AM, site is serving up the pages very smoothly.

i am flat right now... i think everyone has their eyes on the same levels which means we could break below 1225-20 ( even to 1218 ) and reverse back up and make that strong counter trend move i thought would happen earlier in the week. time to wait and see.
Lasertrader just noted the formation of a rare English Pointer Pattern on Twitter. He says watch which way the nose goes to gauge the market.
I could not find this pattern in Bulkowski's guide.
