As of the moment I did this analysis the SPY was up 8.15% for the week or $9.48. 85% of these gains or $7.99 came in the pre-market. The gaps are getting ridiculous. Roll the dice at night or come home empty. I am feeling short term very bearish with this many major gaps. Expecting a gap fill today or monday. Shorted at open.

Can't help but smell desperation in the EU.

Going short at 1260 and 1265 (200MA) and 1272, with stop at 1276. Can't help but think this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness a major deterioration of our financial systems.
Either the EU collapses or we go to the moon (Alice)

very true. been going on like this for quite some time. it's betting black or red overnight.

so you're going to hold short over the weekend? seems pretty risky...i'm going to try and get as flat as possible right now. i went long at yesterday's close. will probably close it out by the end of the day.

I was long at yesterday's close as well even though I was scared about it. I am hoping to be flat going into the weekend as well.

Ok, who is from Singapore?

Either Singapore or there is an Indonesian pirate on the Straits of Malacca with a laptop on his ship.

alvian33 wrote:uempel, how do you draw all those charts, where do you take all those circles from? no offense but I my opinion they are very confusing, and not sure if much reliable.
stockcharts java draws them, and to answer your second question: they are an application of Newtons 3rd law and they work perfectly, very reliable. See channels, Andrews Forks, Fib Bounces/Fans, grids... Most similar to Gann's rhomboids, but better.

Look at the arrow, ellipses showed yesterday that SPX was coming to this spot.
