Thanks Cognitive, you see that signal bar on the 5min on TVIX @ 9:45? The one with the big tail, perhaps no one wants to sell below it

Many thanks in advance
Thanks and welcome aboard!

As for the car theory, basically, consider the price as an object, so its movement has to follow the law of Inertia. If this object is in free fall, you shouldn't expect it to reverse all of sudden without slowing down first. This is like when you drive your car, you're accelerating forward, can you all of sudden move your car backward without first slow down your car then stop it then reverse? If you're not like me from Mars, I don't think you're able to do that so the price is the same, even harder to reverse because it involves millions of you Earth people.
The accelerating car theory can also be followed on NDX:

I understood vix is a 'sentiment' value and not price per se...only a value place on the vif and vin (far and near) implied volitility. I am not a well seasoned trader and learning; but I would ask how TA on the vix would serve to show divergences when it is not price per se. maybe I'm off?...Cheers ;)

$vix is the best human mood teller. no other indication I can trust over $VIX, $VXN, $VXD. love them.

Hey there Cobra- been reading your site for about a year or so now.. will defintiely be signing up for the members area.

This is my first intraday forum post-

I am wondering if you feel the downslide that started yesterday is just the first leg of a 2-leg down.

If so are we in the middle of the 2-leg down move (ie: sell the bounce)

or do you feel the down move is finishing up? Thanks for your insight ;)
