I'm in the 1300 camp by around Jan 9 - 12. He did call the bottom at 1074 for last Fall. Nobody can predict the future but if they can offer a statistical edge then great. He's been good so far, otherwise he'd be broke.

You should get your rest/consolidation soon. But don't stay short for too long. On the way to SPX 1280 - 1300 IMO. Don't mess with Santa. TNA from 39.56 on Monday at close.

SPY 5min looks breaking out the Ascending Triangle. I think next target may be 126.05 - 126.15.

Yep, cobra 11:02 “ascending triangle” thanks
BUT NYADV IS NOT CONFIRMING, AND I DON’T LIKE THAT, just weakness, but important weakness… she MUST get stronger soon

With high respect to him for sure. We should hit a top before turning back down. Thanks for your insights.

Testing overnight highs...should see a retrace here soon, but then pump it back up.

Another guy I read said earlier this week that many DeMark 9 counts were reached i.e. down trend exhaustion / buy signal so the move back up makes sense according to his system.

Yes agree - seeing QQQ and IWM trailing, I think we rest here soon too. Though it will be a quick consolidation lower - maybe just a day or two, before continuing higher.

Well theres that breakout I was concerned could happen. Glad i didnt short this morning.

An interesting note is that SSO is now out/above its triangle.. SPX is peeking out as well, but SPY is still inside.. (at least on freestockcharts.com)

heh what exactly did Demark have to say about trendlines?

He predicted a high based on a fib level... lol. I'm not impressed by people who go on TV and speculate about the future, bloomberg, cnbc, etc are all simply selling to the herd.

-They don't care whether what's being marketed is correct or not

Baron von Dinner
Sounds tasty
Actually I try not to pick on you too much when the market is against you, I try to keep my big mouth shut, but it’s Christmas and all bets are off.
Plus now that I know you hedge up the wazoooooo and you’re nimble like fox, I feel safe picking on you anytime the market is open for trading, and especially on Fridays, or any other day ending in “y”
PS: what did u get me for Xmas?

You guys go short too early. Here's my plan:

1. A=C=1269.96
2. C=161.8 of A=1267.02
