There is a market play coming into place for January. I have to dig into my notes but something about the trend for the first 5 trading days being reversed until the State of the Union where it then reverses itself to the original trend.

Cobra: you are correct vix is up huge does that mean correction is most likely?

No, from my experiences, it's actually a bad sign for bears because that means people are cautious. Bears have to wait until VIX collapse again one day (implying the early bears giving up). I might remember incorrectly though, so just for fun.

Just curious, how do you push up VIX? I always thought it is just a calcuated number. Thanks,

60 min charts are overbought. Full Stoch over 80 for 30 straight hours and RSI over 70 for 8 straight hours. I mentioned this one on Friday and said if it were the oversold case prepare to get your face rippped off and if it were the overbought case you had at least 6 more hours to sell. Something should give here soon even on the Tuesday after Christmas.

RUT still down, JJC down and TRAN is barely up. VIX is up 5% but VIX etns' are down. They're just gonna grind this mofo with or without anybody.

Although I don't trade on divergences as a practice there are also 4 divergences on the MACD on the hourly chart. Not sure how that will work out, but I think we will see 124.5 before pushing higher.
