Gap down but within yesterday's range so chances are the gap will be filled.

The Global ES finally looks a little promising for bears because the 2nd attempt on the high was failed overnight. Now the key is the blue line below, bears must decisively breakout below it. Let's see.

Something about UPRO: The latest 4 high spikes (red circles) were all either in pre-market during the first hour of regular trading ..and followed by corrections.
It looks like Da Boys arte trying to tell the bernank: “Look, we are doing our best to lift it by night with cheap bogus futures trades, but we need more money, because the hedgies and the retailers sell into our up moves….We need help! QE, QE, QE!!!”

GLD update: yesterday it reached a previously proposed target, at a confluence of Fan line, upper Acceleration Band and MAT(42).
Yesterday was also the 89 d extension from the all-time high on 09/06/2012.

I am out of GLD and gold-diggers longs…and ready to short for a swing.

Also, according to zh, the QQQ shorts have have covered enough to drop the short interest -43% “…to levels not seen since January 2001 (11 years!)…”
