I do have a real job. Sometimes I can scalp, but mostly just grab and work conditional orders with a buy target and a stop loss. If I was better at trading I would be on the island with Cobra.

a strong trend shouldn't see overlaps, so the push down is not strong.

I agree with Cobra. Elliot calls it an Ending diagonal.

Any statistics on mean reversion probability for a security trading over 31% above its 200 day sma? Of course I am referring to aapl.

no. AAPL went even higher in the past. so no statistics.

aapl has been higher than 31% over it's 200MA? i'm not seeing it on the daily time frame...

i think the next highest is 27%...

did i miss one?

Here's a simple way to see how far AAPL is over its MA200. Weekly PPO(1,40,1) which is better than MACD(1,40,1), clearly we can see AAPL went much much higher above MA200 in the past, so the current reading is nothing.
