does anyone have a really good, well cited reason for why so many buy programs hit the market at 3pm?
Because:
a) at 3pm no one notices the added volume
b) at 3pm all the mutual funds and etfs come in to reposition and it gives programs more market orders to screw over
c) at 3pm technicians generally know the direction of the market so the programs can take advantage
d) because they can....and will....until someone stops them...which will be never....because as long as they don't f up and sell the market and cause an unexpected dip that doesn't get bought...everyone is happy...and no one asks questions.
I made the biggest newbie mistake this morning. Trying to short a Wave 3 impulse up. LoL....
I am laughing so hard I just fell out of my chair.
It is confirmed 100%, yesterday drop to 1366 was in fact wave 2. Now we are in the middle of wave 3 up. The asian market and the european market tonight will push this further after the "rosy outlook" statement from helicopter Ben.

it's become so common place...i'm surprised it's not talked about on CNBC. i mean even those idiots must notice this constant and repetitive practice of ramping at 3...
