SPY, IWM, & the banks sold off at the open. I had to assume POT would sell off too.jimme wrote:Petsamo wrote:I bought POT yesterday before the close but I sold at the open. Only 2.07% gainKeiZai wrote:Petsamo what about POT? still in?
Hi Petsamo,
If you want an easy way to get out of these skyrockets, try a 30 min chart with a 3 and 6 SMA. Fool around with it. Nice trade. I love POT when it isn't idling. Carry on. GLTA jimme

But I'm here for trading, and not to think about the rights and wrongs of what the gov does, of what the banks do.
I received an e-mail 15 minutes ago thanking me for educating people about what the market has become and asking me to continue.KeiZai wrote:very well said uempeluempel wrote:Hey, SWalsh, money has always been a tricky business, the more money to gain the more tricks are played.
But I'm here for trading, and not to think about the rights and wrongs of what the gov does, of what the banks do. Looking at myself: I'm very ambivelent about my own trading. I happen to enjoy what I do and it fits nicely into my weekly working pattern. But if I think a bit about my/our activity and apply a strict moral standard: what I/we are doing ain't very beneficial for the country. It's less harmful than playing war games, but it sure does not help improve the economy, provides little added value.

I think I see what you looking at, I know same charts always gave out at least two or more conclusions.Al_Dente wrote:Baron von Dude

What feature are you using to dual plot that in TOS? When I have tried "comparison" I'm getting one plot as a quasi straight line well above or below.BullBear52x wrote:Scalpers, this is very simple set up if you use TOS. I tried to transfer to stockchart, not so good didn't work out right. last buy at 8:32, for now intraday buy on a negative TRIN day.
Isn't that about bank activity, which was requested, by some, to leave off the board?
not quite understand your question, if you want to overlay the indicators from under sub graph to upper you can 1. high light the indicator/study 2. check mark "on upper sub graph'' and apply, is this what you want to do?SWalsh wrote:What feature are you using to dual plot that in TOS? Thanks
It never hurts to remind folks of the Gov't inability to set reasonable rules for the markets.SWalsh wrote:Isn't that about bank activity, which was requested, by some, to leave off the board?
Just trying to figure out what I'm allowed to say here without upsetting people. There has been a distinct string of comments to me by PM against mentioning HFT trading, even though they are the market. The mkt doesn't move more than a few ticks without their decision to stop it, or push it.
I never tried it that way. I did a screen copy of your instructions and will try it your way. I was shown a different way that rarely worked and I think it did only if the axis/price of each was close. I had thought it was me but I guess I wasn't using the right function.BullBear52x wrote: not quite understand your question, if you want to overlay the indicators from under sub graph to upper you can 1. high light the indicator/study 2. check mark "on upper sub graph'' and apply, is this what you want to do?
