% of bears on surveys is near record and historical lows. A few bears here doesn't mean anything. The stats don't lie.

Yeah, this market is bi-polar. It's a swing trading paradise.

Cobra will the your CI model go back into buy mode or is it still in short mode and this is just one of the whipsaw days?

Good hourly chart got lost in an earlier stream this morning - it gives a clear view of what's going on:

still in short and the stop loss hasn't been triggered yet. But I admit that the short might caught the wrong time. We have to live with the reality though as if I had 100% winning system, I wouldn't post anything here, rather I'd sunbath somewhere along the beach, right?

still watching. as on the day like this I shouldn't say anything about reversal unless i have solid proof. I do see some just they're not solid enough to make the call, so I'm mostly watching here.

the thing I'm looking at is, well, it's really rare for VIX so out of BB bottom nowadays. but again, on a day like this, intraday reversal is very rare, so bears hope may be on the following days.

I don't know...I think the I want my money back selling for those who bought in the 1325-1340 range is still in play...it's going to take a lot of buying to overcome it, especially if another day like Monday hits. I don't see any reason why SPY won't go down to 131.35 to fill the recent gaps next week. 134 is what I need to be as Bullish as some here.

Anyone know what typically happens over the long Easter weekend?

And being bearish because of a record low # of bears has made you rich? lol. :geek:
