bought some copper moly this afternoon on the TSX. not much reason. just the miners have been down last couple weeks.

seems copper chart has no where to go. cant fall below 3.78 (200 day) on the daily. cant rise above 3.84 (50 week) on weekly. both the daily and weekly charts seem like bull flags but not sure if its correct to read that on other than short term interval.

No, it would not work -- they have sold 602M tickets, the payout is $640M, which present value is around $450M before tax.

Cobra - regarding AAPL, I am learning charting so have no idea what happens next. I see your chart on normal reversals but I am holding short April $625 calls and am a little worried. Any suggestions?

I guess you are experienced trader, as shorting the calls is very risky, i would rather buy puts and pay the premium. with puts at least there is a max cap on how much i would lose

w/o leverage, short 1 625c will cost a lock down of 60k margin. you need to have deep pocket to do that. risk/reward-wise, i feel like u r using an elephant doing flyfishing. maybe u can get some catfish from time to time, but if u lose once, yr elephant is gone.

My account is showing $100k for 10 contracts. Got a little carried away this time. I usually short no more than 1-2. I am getting a little worried about holding it over the weekend especially since the past few Monday's there has been some kind of bailout or the other. End of day I am getting out. Would like to sleep better over the weekend

Ending with a short strangle on AAPL for April: $575 puts and $625 calls. Thanks to Cobra and all for your help.

they said that about 10 min ago. it is june contract, but i cannot find it on either gld or gc

also cftc just reported this week eur short position increase 8% over last week. net USD long position increase 70%!!!
so people are betting something going on over the weekend?
