A down VIX today would have generated a buy signal for a lot of bulls but it is not to be.

Do you consider that a double top on today's chart or would we normally have to retest the day's high?

that's just an 5 min chart double top, and target already met, so means nothing for tomorrow.

well, guess that's it for today. I'm not happy with what I see for bulls but still too early to declare bulls are dead. The only thing I know is, at least I won't expect a gap up tomorrow because we've already got 5 gap up in a row, which is very close to the max 6 consecutive ups in the most bullish phases of the past 2 years. Thank you guys, I'll see you tomorrow.

If both SPX and VIX are green on close then one is lying, but they can lie for more than one day.
