Why would I want to do all of that work just to prove you wrong? Nobody ever said it worked ALL of the time...but here is a good example of where it did work.

If both SPX and VIX are green on close then one is lying, but they can lie for more than one day.

It means that you can "stick-save" a stock/index price but you can't stick save the volatility measure. :lol:
