Yup, find it odd GLD and SLV are down while Dollar is down and market ripping higher. Seems to be a disconnect.... Anyone have thoughts as to why?TraderGirl wrote:Does anyone else see a smack down for PM's??
What do your charts look like?? I guess if no QE announced then that would not be good for commodities....ClarkW wrote:Yup, find it odd GLD and SLV are down while Dollar is down and market ripping higher. ouch. i don't know any US based brokers that allow for competing orders though. if you want to do that, just open up a secondary account. i think i "heard" that there are some UK orders where you can go both long and short the same stock in the same account...but i've never seen it.Richarab wrote:While in Thailand and most my travels I do a lot on this iPhone

Last night my time I had a long on ES futures - placed for first time what I thought would behave as OCO
But not so - tdameritrade app won't let you place dueling orders btw - so what happened? My stop order got filled then later my other "stop" got filled as buy - then I ordered another 20 contracts - on my phone - but This was a close - and at 1347! So I got hammered on the sell I shouldn't have had and missed the buy I wanted!
Needless Andy at TOS said he would reduce my futures transaction fees to $1.00 - but that does little to assuage what looks to be a $60k snafu
Note to all on TOS mobile - don't place competing orders and then go to sleep
Btw - house for sale - Kuwait - will send photo later - while not freehold, I promise not to pull the oriental rug from under you
