In my opinion, gold (and silver) must be looked at in terms of the MONTHLY charts.
Gold is gearing up for a HUGE move.
I read an article by someone who looks at fractal dimension, and in terms of the monthly chart
the fractal dimension is approaching a level that indicates a breakout and an up move that will
last for at least several months.

that's ok, as long as no fight each other, I'm OK with today because it's really a big event.
Besides, you sure you can find who makes intra-day call as good as me and yet free? Usually such intra-day calls would cost from $99 to $199 a month. So please, be forgiven a little, just for today.
And all the other guys, please, let's concentrate on trade, thanks.
Thank you Cobra. You made me a small fortune already. But to me many post are very interesting because I am a Yank too, old enough to be a Vietnam Veteran and used to think different with the bias information which is so common in US.
However the last 15 years I been living oversees and it really opened up my eyes. My main source of information is Al Jazeera and I am an Atheist but married to a Buddhist wife.
I do not rely on friends to tell me what to think because have many relatives in Germany and US and also have among them 3 Economist with PHD's but they not be able agree on anything.
Then living half way around the world in a completely different culture and traveled many countries many of you be surprised who hate and love Americans. I love to read some of your comments with great interest.
Thank you

Easily can do not stop 100 -120 pushups, forgot about heart disorders, hips and knee cracking…. Now, 2 weeks ago we started advanced Insanity - The Asylum.
Wish my trading had the same success ….
Are you guys paying attention on your health?
Excellent to hear Victor. Going on 9 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as I crest 40. I meditate everyday as well. BJJ & meditation has helped my trading immensely.

My satisfaction always came from beating the market, solving the puzzle. The money was the reward, but it was not the main reason I loved the market (Jess Livermore)

It is so imperfect, more than a thousand Obamacare waivers have been distributed. What's good for the rest of the country is not good enough for Democrat constituents, unions, especially everyone in the three branches of the government.

You're up to 47 posts in a year now. Did you mean a "read" board and not a chat board?

Gold is gearing up for a HUGE move.
I read an article by someone who looks at fractal dimension, and in terms of the monthly chart
the fractal dimension is approaching a level that indicates a breakout and an up move that will
last for at least several months.
What if that HUGE move is to the downside?
It seems to be forming a bullish pennant so it is looking like it will be an up move.
A move below 1475 would negate that, of course.

i highly doubt it, sentiment on precious metals is really bearish.
