Note the red box I outlined on the reduced rates that will expire. When told in a debate that raising capital gains taxes does not bring in more revenue the word "fair" was used. Obobo's odds of election just went up today. yeah, I'd say discussing taxes is related to the mkt as it's going to harm it. We didn't drop like a stone for no reason. Not that the PPT won't rally it.

IS that "one man" The congress when they passed it? Maybe Nancy Pelosi as she was speaker when it passed? OR was that "one man" the Senate as they passed it too? OR was that "one man" The President of United States who signed it into law? OR was that "one man" the 5 supreme court justices who upheld it? OR was that "one man" the Bush appointee John Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who sided with the liberal justices?

This law was passed by the Congress, Signed by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States— that's all three branches of government, and then YOU type some nonsense about how "one man just took over a nation"

In my opinion, gold (and silver) must be looked at in terms of the MONTHLY charts.

Gold is gearing up for a HUGE move.
I read an article by someone who looks at fractal dimension, and in terms of the monthly chart
the fractal dimension is approaching a level that indicates a breakout and an up move that will
last for at least several months.

What if that HUGE move is to the downside?

USA doesn't tie money to gold - see nixon and talk to carter about the ramifications (inflation) - and see USA dig in to oil as USA dollar equivalent and see USA love all things oil - and oil is not in pretty places

Gold will be deleveraged from currencies when we print - euro yuan dollar to extremes

Currently euro pegged to basket
With gold included
And it's only hope is more printing money
And it ain't gonna happen
Even if it does
And qe3 happens
Gold will spike
But it will be short lived

Hola all! Been busy with other projects (including one called marketshadows). In any case, how did that SGEN move treat those involved? Made it through the 21 zone and now is poised to go higher after some pause. I am watching $30 like a hawk. YMI, CRIS, EXEL and CLDX are all ones to own, scale into, and sell premium against. Good companies, interesting drugs, and should do well in the future. I am also focused on VVUS put calendar spread (July 18/Aug 18) for about 20-25c debit. I expect them to be rejected....I may be completely wrong on that one, but the combo pill has too much baggage IMHO.

Cobra, thx for the good board and work. I enjoy reading it every day...although I am not always posting as I am more longer term focused.
