And it's Thursday... so here's the sentiment survey results. So from a contrarian point of view... the bearish view was too strong last week for more downside..
but looks like we are swaying back to neutral http://www.aaii.com/sentimentsurvey/sent_results
thanks for the survey data--looks like some bears covered in spy and qqq, based on moves earlier this week....now, did i pay toomuch for my put gamma?

Russell with potential double bottom...hopefully my SL is very close
My satisfaction always came from beating the market, solving the puzzle. The money was the reward, but it was not the main reason I loved the market (Jess Livermore)

Russell - after breaking this line it could be really scary for russell

I've down loading actual list in my database to keep track of $RUA ( Russell 3000). I am so surprised that there are amny stocks in the list that only have volume of 10 -500 , so only those stocks with volume of over 1M that make big difference in the list, the rest with constant volume and price should not have big impact on Russell 3000. Some of the stocks are already off the market but Russell still keep them in their list as components of the index. They just revised their list as 6/25/2012. For eaxmple , under Russell 3000, under B section of the list, I don't find any price or information on BF.B and BSSR, this makes it RUSSELL 2998 so far.
Based on stockchart market blog, the strength Russell should be weighed based on IWM:SPY or $RUT:$SPX and it has been going down for a while.

Pardon the busy chart.
Copper is flirting with the support line of a sizeable symmetrical triangle.
Gets interesting cause down below lurks the neckline of a substantial head and shoulders pattern.
Someone needs to tell Mr. Market not to feed the bears...
