Al- I dont' think you can draw any conclusions from single day issuance. A lot drives the calendar, such as where the mkt has been recently, all in rates, earnings timeframes, and big deals (like UTX $9.8bn new issue on 5/24/12)

Harapa, I don't want to argue but I see little correlation to market movement. To be fair, one could pick out any number of random dates on that chart and they would all be good long term buy points. Am I missing something?
