In preparation for any pre-emptive or retaliatory action by Iran, warships from more than 25 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, will today begin an annual 12-day exercise. Wonder how many will leave after exercise.

Agreed Netanyahu is in a tough spot but 25 countries participating strikes me as though somebody has intelligence that is sufficiently worrying that precautions are being taken.

The purported reason is to prevent blocking of the Straits of Hormuz about 21 miles wide. With all of the ships reportedly involved in the exercise, they alone will end up blocking the straits.
