So if the Market is at highs on 9/21 (Spy 146) why a spike in the SKEW??
"Skew tells the investor how much out-of-the money puts are being bid up versus out-of-the money calls. If an investor is scared about downside, then he buys puts. If an investor thinks there is room for upside, then he is willing to buy calls. When the difference between the implied volatility of OTM puts dwarves OTM calls, then investors are fleeing for the exits "

Euro and aussie on important supports we may saw low for today
I am no buyer but seller of the bounce
