Here we are, support zone, I'd like to see it lower to buy, but looks like the dip buyers are fearless.

I added Darvas Boxes to do a better job (from my point of view) of tracking swing lows and highs for scalping.

Point being it sure looks like they turned on the algos and now they are saying job well done, back to 6,700, worry about the gap later.

Annoying phantom bars.

Opinions on what they are, and why they occur? Seems like some kind of target setting on low volume.

The bulls hit a speed bump, after breaking through all the EMAs.

I use them on NinjaTrader. Basically support and resistance. Very useful.

William O'Neil, of IBD, features them as ''bases,.'' trading ranges.

William O'Neil's stock chart bases are price consolidation patterns (typically 12% to 33% deep) that act as "launching pads" for growth stocks after a prior 20%+ advance. Key types include the Cup with Handle, Double Bottom, Flat Base, and Base-on-Base, usually requiring 5–7+ weeks to form before breaking out on high volume.

Read a thread where they used 2x the primary chunk of volume to predict the future. So my guess is a guess at this point.
