How many times are we going to cross 7,600 this year? Looks like we are returning to a flat line waiting for next weeks data.

Relative smoothness Thursday. Chop today.

No progress up or down.

Five minute bars show the flat line and the President doing his thing, which clearly was of interest to the algos for about three minutes.

The blue line has been test 4 times now so a breakout should be more likely.

We are getting close enough to take out 7,600 on the 14th when all the algos spasm on bank earnings

Looking at the entire day it is very clear that we broke ut of a tight range that was briefly upset by a Presidential message. After the breakout we have an upward drift with a lot of back and forth movement. But we are now within easy distance of S & P 500 7,600. Should encourage the weekend 401 K investors.

No touch of EMA20 for 3 hours so the very first touch likely would be bought therefore today likely bulls are safe.
