testing little triple bottom at 515
(this time on pos diverg?)

i thought there was no such thing as a triple bottom (or top)...?
Cannot see chart until tonight, so no comments here.
DAX closed precisely on the MA 9. Rola, if you trade DAX check out the BB13/1, BB20/2 and MA 9 on the daily, works pretty well. Bounced on the center line of BB13/1 (which of course is MA 13) yesterday and today

12:30 p.m. DAX futures are not back up at 7715 - if they stay this high into tomorrow's opening we might consider (?) the dip below the 7715 pivot a bear trap
Chatter on the net re banks (last night)
Banks led on the upside NOW THEY ARE WEAK due to BAC downgrade bla bla bla
Note banks relative strength flipped back to green today…
Disclaimer: I am not an investment advisor. This is just my opinion NOT investment advice.
Today feels just like it did in 2000…
“Why I am going on about how much income was pushed into 2012 to avoid higher taxes, is that when comparative corporate cash flow begins to weaken sometime this current quarter, corporate buybacks will stop and likely turn into net corporate selling. Will the float shrink of the past two and a half years stop? I say it has to since final demand will slump from very modest growth to an actual decline.”

Weakness to stimulate the bears to increase positions so that there's more bullish firepower tomorrow? Whatever, I'm still in the bullish camp.

Harapa, what makes me think that today's weakness ain't significant are the signals I have on daily/weekly/BP charts: they all suggest that there might be a biggish move in approx 2 weeks, e.g. this daily SPX chart. It is not (yet) drawn precisely, but there is no indication of a strong move at the moment, strong meaning > 2 or 3 percentage points.

Uempel,
Would the move be up or Down 2% to 3%?
No idea... But I think you're asking the wrong question I'm suggesting that whatever happens now is not very significant, I'm waiting for that next move later in January. But pls note that I'm cash at the moment with only a wee bit of exposure to the upside. Be very careful if you are short. This market is a bull. Doesn't mean the market will shoot to the sky, but it's very tricky territory for the bears.
Hey Clark are you alright dude? I have not seen you here for some time, hope all is well with u...I miss your charts...what do u think about sugar buddy, one more low then bye bye?

volume surge, biggest bar, so might see pullback here first but guess bears are over for today.

Scout, are you aware that medium term mometum is pointing to the upside, that short term mom is turning up too? Markets can dip any time, but I don't yet see a signal. Your forecasts are quite bold
