No position in GDX but will likely be buying the next dip. Looks a little extended on the hourly in my opinion.
EDIT: Notice distance from 34ma using Cobra's trick of 1,31,1 PPO (pink solid at the bottom)

So your saying up into the 26th,which would be an inverted full moon signal also in the midst of Cyprus debockle and trannies that have change direction, they lead all the way up,and now are breaking down,we best have strong finish today or Europe will puke again and we probably follow.Monday's have been very bearish this year.Need to bottom at 3:30 and have strong close
This week is Cyprus week. Next week it will be forgotten.
Tough call.
On the one hand the EU is probably bluffing about their Monday deadline; on the other, we obviously can't underestimate their capacity for doing stupid shit.
They're trying to scare Cyprus into ripping off their depositors— By Monday! Or else!
Or else what, asshat?
This is the problem with tough-guy talk— you often end up painting yourself into a corner.
very small ascending triangle, so the bias actually is up now.

LOL nice one! you were faster I am watching exactly the same thing
My satisfaction always came from beating the market, solving the puzzle. The money was the reward, but it was not the main reason I loved the market (Jess Livermore)
Guess Europe would have to pull a rabbit out of its hat this weekend for that to be fulfilled
actually that is not the case--the odds the market would be supported in the event of a cyprus failure are epic. while i often disagree with central bankers and govs they obviously grasp what is at stake here. it's important that either way Cyprus goes it's contained. short term this is likely possible--longer term (imo) this is not going to work.

Even if the triangle does not pan out EW wise the internal structure of the pullback off the March 15 high is corrective therefore a top is not in place yet ===> Price eventually (within the February up leg ) will unfold another up leg
