Reasons why Mr. B reports his position each morning on Cobra's Market View:

1) He works alone and has no boss or partner looking over his shoulder. The stress of having to publicly admit to losing trades is a tool that helps him to be more diligent and disciplined.
2) An opinion is not a position. When he expresses a market view, you can see if his money is where is mouth is.
3) A signal is not necessarily a setup. The two signals he comments on are not the sole criteria for trades (they also conflict at times). So, the money lets you know when the signal has actually been put to work.
4) Because he can. He is not a day trader and flipping back and forth all the time. So, he doesn't have to spend a lot of time updating.
5) Entertainment and sharing the journey. Perhaps seeing what that BachNut is up to over the course of the market's thrills and spills provides some viewing pleasure.

I trust everyone is doing their own due diligence for their trading and not taking anything I say or do as advice.
Thank you Cobra for providing this great forum.
Thanks Mr. B...there are probably many who feel the way I do on this board...but I do read your posts every day..and I appreciate them...even though I may not comment...I still read them and take notice...thank you for your updates.. :D :D

Keeping an eye on the pattern on the XIV...if we get a 5th wave down here...then the rally could fall apart...

I always enjoy reading your updates, Mr Bachnut. I am also not a day trader so it's interesting to see which way the wind is blowing in baroqueland.

Holy crap!! Now you tell me!?! I've been making massive entries and exits based on your morning updates.!! As it stands (and based on your comments) I am long JCP, have major etf in emerging markets, buying bonds of recent, and bet the house on ntflx... Sound familiar?!

Best comment I can make: if for some reason I've been otherwise busy and start reading here mid-day I zoom through the initial posts but always pause when I see Bach to read what you have to say. Thanks for your contributions.

Your input is extremely valuable here, and Your Trading/Investing discipline is a mantra many newbies like myself strive to attain.
Thanks for outlining your philosophy, without taggard's kantian pontification (he has great input too, but often need to read a few times to omit the diversions...)

Outa most of my calls. bought a few r2k puts (intraday),
possible Dtop on 30min renko here,
also 30 min 377ma is 10265,
the breadth measures getting a bit overdone intraday (downvol too low, upvol too high,

if we make new highs, then stops should be runout by 10325/30 ish, unless its high volume enough to fill gap above, do not think its likely midday, possibly this afternoon...
looking to get swing long 10210 down to 10160 area later.
