so far pullback looks like a bull flag, so likely it'd be bought.

Thanks Heck, isn't the 10:30 est Indicies & ETFs C/P of 100% bullish?
100% right at the bear/bull dividing line for undervalued opening long calls/puts.
Most of the day in bearish territory with +70% more puts.

On the other hand, overvalued Equity calls/puts of 175% bearish.

Sentiment can be tough to trade

We had our needed rally to let off the steam due to the lack of buying volume yesterday afternoon.

Bears need to keep it under 1836 (61.8%) since VIX is not on bear side now.

The blue line starts from the 08 vix top. Vix bottomed right around 12 today and bounced off the blue line. Maybe it's important?

5min internals
Holding “bull trend day” so far...
Worth keeping an eye on NYADV: it toyed with breaking 2000, then this last push moved it back above 2100 (pink arrow)
Volume ratio (shaded green) has been bull all morning (the volume ratio is the key)

I agree we could go lower, and likely will as it is hard to time something like that, but I think we are close to some sort of cyclical change in the market and a multi-year gradual increase in volatility. Not just based on that chart but it is a good example of some evidence.

Thinking about one moar low buy there and see what happens  line in the sand is clear = rising wedge trendline

OK seems like this is the second time in a row I missed the "turning point" swing buy  last time it was because of deep pullback (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1154&p=150510#p150510) this time shallow (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1180&p=151973#p151973) nice paradox lol

wisdom: the hardest part of trading is to predict the volatility not the direction

still can make a new low later tho, but I would not bet on it as this structure is so choppy and overlapping...so in my honest opinion sooner or later new highs are quiet likely peace
My satisfaction always came from beating the market, solving the puzzle. The money was the reward, but it was not the main reason I loved the market (Jess Livermore)
