Well, just maybe, worth a try. Wolfewave stuff: My guess we're in final wave 5 down on this move. It may double bottom or otherwise target is around SPY 197.5ish. The purple lines are connect dots of 1 and 4 on down trend for target up. If that establishes the 'Racer' HnS pattern it is also neckline, but that's a bit down the road. Since counting money was never my forte, these currency squimishes are beyond my analytical ability. If as folk here post on that, I'd be most grateful for at least a smudgeon of implied consequences. Trading wise it's like support trendlines get violated and then pop right back up. maybe daytrader's paradise but TD TOS only allows me 3 daytrades/2 weeks.

Markets are just F ing cool. I just never cease to be amazed. I love what I do.
I have a diverse set of positions long and short across currencies, commodities, equities and fixed income.
No CHF position (either a dodged bullet or a missed opportunity) but the action is lively everywhere. This is a big day. Everything is in motion.

I don't have much to say about equities except that NYMO is keeping its options open.
The down cycle is still on but the 1/06 low has yet to be beat on a closing basis.
If the trend continues, the 1/06 NYMO low will get beat eventually perhaps to achieve an oversold condition and complete a move to target.
However, a bounce to test the zero line or even set a higher low to end the down cycle can fit normative patterns as well.
So, not much help here. I am keen to see how the afternoon session goes now that Europe has closed. (DAX looks good btw.)
The December low is pretty key IMO.

I am short ES from the other day with a BE stop. Not sure what I'll do with it though...

QQQ seems to be leading down. The outperformance of this index has been wavering -- one minute it's way outperforming the next it is underperforming. This market has gone truly schizo and one might assume it will end in some big down day or capitulation, which I guess has not been seen. The only hope for bulls is that tomorrow is OPEX and there could be a turn coming soon.

Everything says go long. Risk (TED Spread) is low, sentiment is buried, near record lows on ISEE, interest rates are low, inflation is low.

But, I guess at times the perfect mix produces the exact opposite result as expected. The market is very cruel.
