Since its ok to say recency bias (one of the Turtle Traders deadly sins) I am thinking that the market is hanging in semi-limbo today because Chair Yellen is having coffee with the House tomorrow morning in front of a live video feed. Algos are all being programmed for the key words that in the past would start an epic squeeze, but based on the Dudley squeeze I am not expecting much.

Even though I suspect we might be in a 5 wave down from the Dec. Hi, positive divergences are forming with the Jan low, I was expectin a 60min move up to at least challenge yesterdays gap down (a wave 4 of 5 perhaps.) Let's see how this small pennant resolves.

I hear ya gappy but I just went all in on the eafe index for a short term play...gotta move when my indies say to move! ....in at 21.6558 so here goes nuttin and good luck whatever your position is!

If it's putting in a bottom diamond, there's a little more downside potential. On this instrument anyways, don't know what you are holding. But close enough for gov't work if you hold until it returns to the cloud.

Same daily chart as before and nothing much to see - but any break to the downside here that does not halt at SPX 1800 ...

By the way: Reading and listening I notice that all the bankers/pundits are very concerned with the credit situation. All afraid of some black swan swimming around on a hidden pond. This is no phantasy. Low oil price and the breakdown of corporate debt do suggest that some wild move might occur

I was tempted to sell at SPY 186.25 and just take the 1 handle but I felt we'd get more. hopefully that was not an error.
