09/30/2011 Intraday Watering

Post by Cobra »

Gap down (well, finally, I thought this market never gaps down ever), but within yesterday's range so there're chances the gap gets filled. The global ES doesn't look good though, could be a Descending Triangle in the forming and since this is the 3rd test, so chances are it'd breakdown.

Watching the descending channel... yesterday's detonation at the end was quite a show. Luckily, I was sitting on enough profit-padding that I didn't enter some sort of panic and do something foolish.

Still all-in with TVIX- let's see what Mrs. Market shows us today!

I love your charts and comments! Do you have a number for a RUT target low based on your work?

TIA.

The German DAX is very close to a gap fill.

If we sell off in the first two hours, it'll be to assist the DAX fill its gap before the move up. To monitor the DAX in real time, here's livecharts.co.uk.

I have been commenting in the daily blogs.
From Wednesday: "I see some green tomorrow or friday, but I believe the market will be significantly lower (1100 area) by next week."

Of course this is not written in stone but as of today I have not changed my mind yet. However, I am a "very" short term trader so, basically using that I would short the bounces and take profits whenever. I added to SPXU after market yesterday and just sold that portion premarket now. Still holding to the shares I bought at yesterdays gap up though.

AMZN, 60 min, with nested envelopes and MM.
2 interesting things:
1. Same strong support for both charts = 210
2. In spite of the down trend, Money Flow and Vol. Avg. are quite optimistic
