time hedge overnight longs folks . nimble!!
holding long and short now
work too hard for my profits to be stupid and greedy ! i expect more up but ill gladly hedge
Unless we dump big before the close, I'm expecting a gap up tomorrow. Last night, Japan & India sold off. Because the Hang Seng was closed, I didn't think we'd finish strong, so I sold some longs prematurely.
RSX (Russia) is relatively very oversold, so I think I'll buy some before the close.
Do you think the ECB will cut rates tomorrow? If so, do you expect that to be market positive for both US and International markets in general?
no idea. I don't read news (at least pretend to ignore them).
Cut rate is to encourage to borrow more. but the problem is debt. in order to solve debt problem, you have to borrow more. I don't understand the logic behind it, by the way. I'm not saying they should not cut rate. I just say our nowadays life is what we borrowed from the future, got to be a pay time one day. Just hopefully not our current generation.
I don't think they will. Their most recent inflation data was around 3% and that's just way too high for their appetite. They like keep their inflation around 2% so I'd be surprised if they reduce rates now. Either way I don't think it will impact the market either way.
"The belly of the curve sold off 20 bps…..HUGE move….haven’t seenthat kind of a selloff since 08…..part of this is a glut of new supply coming to the market, but it’s also…..
Risk ON."
think we have another end of day run up...doesn't take much to get people to buy this market.

99er: remember Volpinacci? he asked me to tell you that he has a "break-line" - what we humans usually call "line in the sand": SPY = 114, which this so-called rally was unable to break..
In last nights report u said if big up today then tomorrow all will be erased.....still true ? or still up tom ? im thinking more up ....but kinda to put in a bear flag / wedge type pattern
