Looks like an impulse down to me. Also the third touch of this support zone.

Added days to the volume composite. Shows why holding this level is a big deal because there is nothing but air all the way down to 4,700. That drop would negate the Powell move.

U.S. stock indexes were falling for a second straight session on Wednesday to extend the sell-off in high-flying technology stocks amid concerns the recent rally has come too far too fast. Investors were also awaiting the minutes from the Federal Reserve’s policy meeting in December.

Here's the bear's last stand for today. Mostly would be taken then up and up though. I kept saying "typically" those days because I kind feel that things might have changed, big guys playing 2007 year end and 2008 year start game again. See my yesterday's Opening Statement.

Guess the low was in. The bear's only hope is it's just a range day, i.e. the rebound is rejected around the day high.

Nothing to dramatic on today's Wednesday's 12PM time bump. Honestly I prefer it that way! Darn Fed days are nightmare.

Looking at the weekend Weekly update. 100% chance to make a higher high, and 100% chance to close red. Not sure how that's possible with the way this weeks candle is forming. I guess the week isn't over. But that would mean lots of buying and then at least some selling from there. So we'll see. I guess that's my interpretation of it. And I'm likely not interpreting right! An attempt to understand algorithms. Doh!
