No idea where the market is heading. Normally the market would try to fill the down gap upon open.

What he didn't say is the VIX is still over 30. My guess is that much fear makes it hard to fill unless J Powell decides to save the market at 1:15 today (when he speaks).

Guessing it just slows down wafting for J Powell.

If Powell disappoints and that gap stays open it may lead to an ugly close. I am sure you have all seen that massive numbers of earnings estimates are getting reduced by the professionals right now. So zero reasons to be bullish as we head for sell in May and go away.
