Market moving off AUD/JPY
jarbo456 wrote:anyone finding the non-action in EUR/USD or the fact that /DX hasn't broken above 78.50 interesting? is the market just catching up with the drop in EUR/USD?

SPY is at 10/11 levels, EUR/USD below them already from last tuesday. so maybe it's just a regression move by equities to catch up with FX? the same for dollar index...which traded around a high of 78.28 on 10/11...

This is what I see. It is an ascending triangle breaking the downtrend line.

Well said. Getting into one or two rallies will usually give you 10-20% returns if the proper preparation is in place ( probabilities ).

nothing to say, maintain the target. but should we close low of the day, a tradeable bottom will be within 4 trading days, so this means we'll have a very strong Wednesday. so bears be careful here.

Inverted daily triangle chart on VIX with March 14 high to August [edit] high points to VIX 60 intermediate term. Scary is monthly chart and inverted triangle from flash crash where if VIX 60 is reached, the longer term inverted triangle shows 90-100.

Here my $VIX, I would be really worried if $Vix trades higher than 37.61, this is positive divergence longer term from my read. over all as of today still suggests Dip buyable.

So I think I’m using windows explorer 7, and I use the “tools” that auto-open 8 tabs on start up.
Problem is that each tab opens at 200 - 300% zoom (no matter how many times I reset the tools), and I have to manually CTRL – (minus) each tab to get it to 100% proper view.
Is there any easy fix for “old” technophobe Al here?
PS: I have my firefox/godzilla icon right there on my desktop, all installed and ready to go, but haven’t used it yet, am weary of more uphill learning curves… is firefox worth the effort? Specifically does firefox lock-up/freeze less than three times a day?
PPS: I’m already upgraded to the biggest ram-thingie and loaded for bear with max internet connection service, etc, nothing more to upgrade there…
Thanks very much in advance for yr help
Not an expert.............
I find that IE windows will open at the same zoom level as the last one closed. Many times I will zoom in on a chart and forget to go back to 100%. Then all others will opena t 150% or some such large zoom.
Try closing the windows, except one. be sure that last one is the size you want, then close it. This should then allow your windows to open at that zoom level.

nobody would sell into the thin holiday volume unless something really really bad, so I won't bet a strong down this week.
